Suzie Q was unapologetically rebellious, alluring and ahead of her time. Bathed in the red glow of oriental charm, her underground Chinese restaurant was a hidden gem during the 80’s in Downtown San Francisco; drawing people in from across the city with her timeless dishes and unforgettable ambiance.

Now, decades later, that legendary eatery is being revived in Melbourne by her nephew, Thai Ho. Inspired by Suzie Q's rich legacy, MAMAS is set to infuse Chapel Street with the nostalgic charm of her classic Chinese cuisine, transporting diners back to an era of culinary magic and indulgence.
